The Parables of Jesus

I used to think the parables were just random stories that Jesus told about a lot of different things. At the same time, I wondered why Jesus didn’t teach more on his gospel that was so important to him. He said we had to forsake all other beliefs and believe it. It was like he left the teaching of it to the Apostle Paul. This is somewhat true, but not totally.

It took me years to discover that his PARABLES
were the way Jesus taught and explained his GOSPEL.

I’ve divided the Parables of Jesus into 4 sections that make sense to me. Here is a listing of them in the 4 groups. Click on the video you want to see.

Group 1 (20 videos): They tell us how the gospel of God’s Kingdom works in us.
Group 2 (6 videos): They tell us about the importance of the gospel of God in our lives.
Group 3 (10 videos): They tell us how Abba Father God relates to us personally in his gospel.
Group 4 (5 videos): They tell us about judgment in God’s Kingdom: final conclusion.

Group 4: Judgment in the Kingdom of God

NOTE: there are 5 judgment parables, but only the last one, #41, is final judgment.
37 through 40 are more warnings than actual judgment.

This is like the plagues of Egypt:
the first 9 were warnings, and only the last one was actual judgment.

This shows the vastness of God’s love, grace and mercy.

37. The Parable of the Rich Man and the Beggar (Lazarus)
38. The Parable of the Tenants in the Vineyard
39. The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Girls
40. The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree
41. The Parable of the Last Judgment (Sheep and Goats)
